Coconut Shell Activated Carbon series is finely produced from coconut shell and is in a form of dark irregular pellets. It has enormous effective surface area and its characteristic structure enables a high pressure environment and can be recycled easily.
The raw material of coconut shell activated carbon is coconut shell which also belongs to nut shell. It mainly imports from Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines. Its production process includes Screening, refining treatment after steam carbonization, Impurity removal, activation screening. Coconut shell activated carbon has the characteristics of high mechanical strength, developed pore structure, large specific surface area, fast adsorption speed, high adsorption capacity, easy regeneration, and durability.
It is widely applied in purification process of gas, vapor and water. It is used extensively in purification of carbon dioxide for beverages, hydrogen, nitrogen, hydrogen chloride and inert gases equipment, facemasks, respirators and detoxification installations.
